 Since 1984, Tropical Marine Canvas has been providing boat owners and enthusiasts with a wide selection of boat tops and accessories. Our founder ,Jose Diaz, came to California from the East Coast in 1982 after working in the boat cover and general marine upholstery business. When he arrived, he continued to work at several local canvas companies until he decided to open his own business in 1984 in the Long Beach downtown area. With hard work, dedication and marketing it began to expand and grow. In 1997 Tropical Marine canvas expanded to a new larger building to offer better service to it's greater number of customers. The size of our current building is 4,000 square feet and a secondary company offering upholstery supply products was started.

 Our wide selection of products includes boat dodgers, weather curtains, boom tents, sail covers, bimini tops, full enclosures and general marine uphostery. Other services we offer include camper backs, mooring covers, travel covers and splash cushions. We specialize in detailed custom design items and are dedicated to the selection of the best fabrics and supply material to suit your specific boating needs. Our goal is to offer superb customer support with prompt personal attention. Full service after installation is offered to guarantee your satisfaction. Tropical Marine Canvas has been proving quality service for 21 years uninterrupted and our many clients include shipyards, boat dealers, and private parties. 95% of our customers are repeat customers. We are located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, California near the marina.
